To prepare all requisite/relevant legal docs. and their renewals, quickly, efficiently and on time viz. Power of Attorneys, Revocations, Board Resolutions, Agreements and their renewals, contracts, deeds of undertaking etc;

Collating docs / information for filing Form 32, DIN Form and forwarding it to our Company Secretary, docs. to facilitate registration of our products overseas if and when required and other related matters;

To ensure that the statutory registers and board minutes books (with regard to minuting board resolutions passed throughout the year) together with softcopies of the board resolutions passed are sent in time to the Company Secretary for updation or for taking on record any other relevant change.

Correspondence/follow up with Advocates, Crime Branch, FDA, to peruse legal docs. like suits, appeals, plaints, counterstatements to check facts and give inputs etc.

Collating information about the status of various cases / complaints at the end of the month (after hearings etc.) – putting it in a proper and simple language and sending it out to the concerned personnel (Management) for their timely and ready information.

To update PC records about pending / registered Trade / label marks, Copyrights, renewals, new applications, oppositions, counterstatements, affidavits, searches conducted filed and proceedings thereafter;

Keeping track of legal cases, which have been outsourced (given to the advocates) for filing oppositions, counterstatements etc.; payments made to TM Registry, Advocates, Consultants etc.

Maintain separate plastic file folders with proper index for keeping various agreements, trade mark & other certificates and other important documents.

Vigorous follow-up over telephone / mails and thereafter, reminders for getting a job done or obtaining relevant documents / information from Inter-Office Personnel, Parties, Advocates, Consultants (in Mumbai and outside), Company Secretary etc.

To approach concerned parties via mail / telephone, negotiate with them over phone or call them for personal discussion, get the best price & thereafter send relevant reports et al across to the Chairman as per his requirement.

Further during the “Order period” to follow-up over telephone / mail for ensuring that we receive relevant data / CD / reports / online monitors every month in time in accordance with the order.

Purchasing / follow-up with bookstores / stationery shops for books, reports, various cds, notebooks, data for pharma formulations, diaries, reading material on TDS, pharma reference guides, Foreign Companies Yearbook, Planners etc required by the Chairman. Making a list of magazines / journals / periodicals received and sending the same by DHL to the Chairman every 15 days and also inform the E.A the AWB No. Thereafter, keep a track on the consignment for timely delivery and in case of any abnormal delay to take up the matter with DHL.
